I’ve been to Sudan twice a month to visit Um Rakuba and Tunaydbah Refugee Camps in Qadarif. I’ve been working on visiting our projects in the field, establishing partnerships and designing our projects.
Our disaster management teams have built more than 5.000 tents for Ethiopian refugees in Sudan. We are running the warehouses and organising the distributions of NFI kits and other relief items.
IHH is increasing its capacity in Qadarif to provide a long term response for Ethiopian refugees in Sudan.
Cooperation among NGOs, UN Agencies, Governmental Institutions, Host Community and Affected Population is a key to success.
